July 21st 2019, 7:00 PM

(1) We’re going to livestream the event on YouTube: YouTube Livestream
(2) We’re going to record it for later as well
(3) Lee is blogging insights into the Apollo 11 mission every day (and hour by hour as we get closer): Lee Norbraten’s Facebook Page

Join us on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing for an evening with our good friend Lee Norbraten, who was a mission planner and technical manager at the Johnson Space Center from 1967 to his retirement in 2011.
Lee saw it all, from the first Apollo flights to the moon landing to the Apollo 13 near tragedy.

Lee is going to talk to us about the effort involved in building the flight plan for Apollo, and will highlight the backstories of a few of the people involved (including his own). After the presentation you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions or share your own memories.

This is a great way to honor and remember the 50th anniversary of the largest civilian endeavor in history. Don’t miss it.
